Tatiana French-Dejean is the owner and head chef of Mix’T Caribbean Blends. Tatiana’s love and respect for food began at a young age while cooking alongside her mother and grandparents. Her lineage of Haitian, Black, and Costa Rican heritage is indubitably incorporated in her recipes.
Mix’T began as small plates to friends and family, and even catered events. Over the last 10 years, positive feedback and faith is what led Tatiana to dive into Austin’s food truck industry. Having worked in some of the nation’s finest kitchen’s, Tatiana thoroughly enjoys crafting dishes that satisfy her guests. Her foods are rooted in tradition and talent, which are evident in taste.
